Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 review (2023)

Although Adam Warlock was severely underutilized, it’s clear Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was all about the original team and the familial bond they have. It’s an emotional roller coaster from start to finish, delivering tear-jerking scenes, it’s hilarious, contains several memorable character moments, it’s beautifully edited/shot, and the action is top-notch. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the film this universe needed … Continue reading Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 review (2023)

Morbius film review (2022)

Some of the ideas have potential, but most of Morbius is overly generic and underwhelming, which is disappointing since Sony is adamant in trying to establish its own Spider-Man universe, even though Marvel Studios has created one that’s already worthwhile. What starts off somewhat interesting in this film quickly goes downhill and never recovers. Okay, so I already had pretty low expectations for Morbius. I’m … Continue reading Morbius film review (2022)

Every Marvel Cinematic Universe film, ranked

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has provided not only some of the best superhero films I’ve ever seen, but some of my favorite movies of all time, period. It’s hard to rank them, but here is every MCU film ranked from worst to best. Before 2008’s Iron Man, there were some solid superhero films, such as Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, the first two X-Men movies, and … Continue reading Every Marvel Cinematic Universe film, ranked

Eternals movie review (2021)

However, the strong character moments carry it through with absolutely beautiful cinematography and visual effects, along with a promise of something game-changing to come. The third Marvel Cinematic Universe film to release this year, Eternals, will be out this Friday and I was fortunate enough to catch … Continue reading Eternals movie review (2021)

Loki season 1 review (2021)

Marvel’s Loki is not only a great character piece for one of the greatest Marvel Cinematic Universe villains ever, but it’s also a mind-blowing, stage-setting epic that promises something devastatingly drastic is about to happen to the superhero universe we’ve grown to love over the last 13 years. Marvel Studios has been on an absolute tear in 2021 with its MCU content so far. About … Continue reading Loki season 1 review (2021)

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series review (2021)

I didn’t buy into every storyline and many questions were left unanswered due to its length. But, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has great fight scenes, impressive special effects for a TV series, and memorable character moments that ultimately make the series worthwhile. Although the Marvel Cinematic Universe is mostly known for its big budget feature films (unless you count Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and … Continue reading The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series review (2021)

Is Morbius connected to the MCU?

As completely unnecessary as this film may be, it seems Sony may be on to something if all the rumors and speculation about its Marvel Cinematic Universe connections come to fruition. Well, the Morbius trailer starring Jared Leto dropped on Monday and I have a lot of thoughts. On the first viewing, I wasn’t a big fan. In fact, I thought it was pretty bad. … Continue reading Is Morbius connected to the MCU?
